Form won't hold width and height after saving and closing

I have a medium complexity form with about 6 subforms and 2-3 screens of vba behind it... When I stretch the screen to the correct size in design mode it stays the proper size in form mode until I close it and then when re-opened, it is the correct width, but only about 1/2 height. Can't seem to see the problem... can anyone help? Thank

By the way, I have tried most of the suggestions listed in this forum... making the border thin etc... still doesn't work

I tried the suggestion..
DoCmd Restor
in the main form and one of the shortened subforms... didn't wor
any other ideas

Sounds as if the Auto resize property is set to true. Perhaps not, but that is
the first thing I check when I see these symptom.
