www.icingpictures.co.uk / frontpage 2003 / win xp

having problems creating a form that has an upload file form field.

1. I understand i need to make sure the properties of the folder (_private)
needs to have the "allow anonymous uploadto this directory" checked - when i
click on the properties of _private - the check boxes are greyed out so i am
unable to make any changes. Any ideas what my problem might be. The reason I
need to change this is due to my site keeps asking for a user name and
password every time i try to submit the form.

Thank you for taking a look at my question.

According to Netcraft, http://www.icingpictures.co.uk is running Apache on
Linux. Per this KB article "How to upload files to a Web Server in FrontPage
2002" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299763 you need to be running on a
Windows server running IIS. Check with your hosting company to see what
components are available on their servers.

I suspect it is greyed out because you do not have permissions to change the
settings/configuration. Contact your hosting company and ask the
administrator to make necessary changes on the server.

The feature is Not supported on his server OS
