Form Template

Can you change the template of a form that you designated at the creation of
it with the wizard (i.e. internation, standard, blueprint, etc.)? I'd like
to delete it, and put in a solid color of my choice. Is this possible?
Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry, I worded that wrong. In the form wizard, on the third page, it
prompts you for a style to choose. And in the form, the background color of
the form is no longer a solid color, but has a design (depending on the style
you chose). Well, I no longer want this style, and when I change the back
color, nothing happens. Any ideas? Thanks

Sorry, Neil. I don't know how to configure the wizards.

Maybe someone who does use the wizards will answer.

I find it much easier to create the forms the way I do want them than to try
to fix up what the wizards do.

Neil,

Guessing a little here.
You have already created a form using the form wizard and now you wish to get rid of the background
picture. Correct?

If so, go the Form's Properties area and look for the option called "Picture" on the Format or All
tabs. Delete what it says on that line and Access will ask if you wish to delete the background
picture. Say yes and the background will disappear. Make any additional formatting changes you
desire and then save and close the form.

Hope that is what you are looking for.

You can create your own template form easily enough, but you cannot
convince the wizards to use it.

Actually you can. If you have a form setup the way you like, in design view
you can go to Format, AutoFormat, Customize and then choose to save it as a
new AutoFormat (that will appear in future runs of the wizard).

In design view of the form, go to Format, AutoFormat. You can change to a
different format (standard will get you a solid colour).
