Form Takes Forever to Open & Save

Hi,

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have a
form with a tab control (about 6 pages) on it. This form
takes forever to open, close, and save. Is this a
limitation in access and how can I improve performance
without going back to the drawing board?

Many times this is due to the data record source of the form. Is it a query?
Does the query have many calculations in?

Try the following trick:

Before you open that form in design mode..try opening a table..and then
minimize that table.

Now try editing/opening the form in desing mode.
