Tom
I have seen recent oddities in the rendering of IE in
form fields. It seems random, and the source information
for the fields looks identical to other fields (i.e.
table fields will be listed the same, but render
differently). However, on a page, it's 100% consistent,
in that if I reboot, and come back to it, the same fields
are off as before.
I have updated to literally every available patch for
Windows XP Pro, in that if you go to the update site,
none are listed. I can not duplicate this in other
browsers or in older versions of IE. An example would be
to go to the site in hotmail where you are setting up
filters, and for the filter criteria, you have 2 form
fields. The first displays as expected in XP/IE. The
second is 3-D instead of flat, and yellow instead of
white. The 3-D and yellow seems to be the exception, and
I see it all over at various sites.
Anyone else see this in forms? Should MS Care about
this? I don't want to call them and be billed 150 to
tell them this - make sense?
Thanks.
