Form Question

I'm having trouble figuring out how to start a form in
excel. On sheet 1 I have the column headings. I want to
be able to put the information in as I go. Am I supposed
to have a list already created for the form to work?
Please excuse my ignorance. Any suggestions which would
lead me out of the tunnel would be greatly appreciated.

you just need the headings and at least one row of data
and click anywhere in the field and choose Data>form and
it should put a form field for each column heading.
