Can fields be frozen in excel so that when a user tabs it
will tab over only to the fields that allow edtiting?.
This userform has not been created through VBA. Any help
would be great.

Laura,

Worksheet protection will do this.

By default, all cells are protected, but the worksheet is not, so you can
edit anything. If you set worksheet protection at this point, you won't be
able to edit anything.

Select all cells on the worksheet
Goto menu Format>Cells and select Protection tab, uncheck the Locked
checkbox, and exit
Select those cells you want to be non-editable
Go back to menu Format>Cells and select Protection tab, check the Locked
checkbox, and exit
Goto menu Tools>Protection>Protect Sheet and okay that (set a password if
you wish)

Those selected cells are now not editable.

Alright I probably didn't make myself cleared enough. I
know how to protect certain cells but what I want is those
cells that are non-editable to also be non activated for
example if you were to hit the tab key when a cell that
was editable the cursor will jump to another cell that is
editable, I din't want the cell that is next to it which
will be a non-editable cell to activate, I want excel to
act like a userform in word.
