Hi all!
I am using MS Access 2003 for our company's front-end. Since I can
remember, way back when we we were still using Access 97, we have been
having this problem. The only consolation is that it does not happen
frequently.
This is our problem:
a. User goes to "Sales Order" form and then it opens.
b. User enters data.
c. User performs several entries.
d. User clicks "Done" to finish entries and go out of the form.
e. User gets back to the sales order form by clicking the "Sales Order"
button again.
f. This time the "Sales Order" form does not get displayed.
What I do sometimes to fix it is just to perform "Compact and Repair
Database". But often this does not work so what I do is to get a fresh new
copy of our application and perform "Compact and Repair Database" again.
Does anyone have any idea on how to eliminate this silly problem? There is
always a reason for a problem or error. I think that the database got
corrupted that is why this problem is occuring. But the issue is that
there should not be any cause for the malfunction.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks!
