Has anyone ever experienced a form being locked? I've made some changes to a
query, and no I cannot change any of the controls on my form.

It sounds like whatever changes you made to the query have now rendered
it "non-updateable". There are many factors which affect whether a
query is updateable. There is a good Help topic on this... search for
the word "updatable", and then you should find the topic "When can I
uypdate data from a query?"
