I have a financial application that contains a form to show totals for up to
60 different categories. When I call this form from the main menu it takes
about 20 seconds to load. When I call the same form from a macro in the
header (on open) of a different form it takes about 2 seconds to load.
Anyone have a guess as to why it takes so long when called from the menu
button?
This is a networked app with the app sitting on a client and the back end
sitting on a server. When I put them both on the client the response is much
quicker but the form still takes longer to load when called form the button
click of my menu than from the on-open macro in the other form.
