Using Access 2002. Set up form based on a query. Want it displayed like the
table view, only in a form. It is a list of computer users, software on ea.
pc, and expiration dates. There are 24 records. I'd like them all to
display on the screen. I can only get it as a single form, where each
individual record displays itself. In order to see all 24 items, you need to
scroll through all 24 records. I want all 24 on one screen. Can this be
done? Thank you so much.

In design view the form has a DefaultView property. Either "Datasheet" or
"Continuous Forms" will give you what you want.

I have tried both of these and it does not work. Continous forms does
nothing and Datasheet views it as a table without the form.

Create a subform within your form and set your form to Datasheet View. You
should be able to do everything you need. The subform will be based of the
query and the "main" form will not be based on anything. Should work for you.

"set your form to Datasheet View"... let me rephrase that... set your subform
to Datasheet View. It's getting late for me. LOL!

Appreciate your help. Could you walk me though this as I'm somewhat new to
Access. I tried creating a brand new form with the form wizard applying I
thought you said. I ended up with continuious records 24 of them
individually laying out vertically. I want them to read horizontally. Can
you walk me through this? Thanks so much.

Well you do have to change the design of your form such that it is
compatable with continuous view and then size the form window tall enough so
that more than one record is visible at a time. Otherwise it won't look any
different than single view except for a vertical scroll bar.
