Trying to import a form from a backup that was deleted by mistake. When
importing the form after picking the name of the form from the list I get
this error:

"Microsoft Office Access can't save design changes or save to a new database
object because another user has the file open. To save your design changes
or to save to a new object, you must have exclusive access to the file"


--No one else is in the database, we have no remote users. What is causing
this error? Help!

Before you try to import the object from the backup, can you confirm that
your backup .mdb file does NOT have an accompanying .ldb file? Access
creates an .ldb file (locking db file) to track who has the .mdb file open.

If you have a "backup.ldb" file, AND if no one is using the backup, you can
try deleting the backup.ldb file. Let us know...
