Form Filter

I used to have a how to sheet on filter a form by placing command buttons at
the bottom of the form. For example if I have a list of names and I want to
filter out all of the J's, I would have a button at the bottom that when
pressed would filter out all J names. Does anyone know how to do this or
where I can get the info.

Open the Northwind sample database, and look at the Customer Phone List
form.
