Hi All,
I have a few sql tables that I suspect are no longer used. They are linked
to several Access 2000 applications. I want to know if any of these tables
are referenced as the row source for any of the form fields in any of the
applications. I know I can view the properties one at a time but, I was
hoping that there might be a faster way to accomplish this since there are
literally hundreds of fields that would have to be checked.
Thank you in advance,
E

The brute-force method would be to make a backup copy of the tables in
question, then change the names (slightly) and re-try the applications. If
anything breaks, it used those tables.

Or you could use one of the analyzer tools available for free or cost.
Jeanette Cunningham offered these:

"Find and Replace" and is available as shareware:

Speed Ferret -

There is also a free one - V-Tools freeware -
www.skrol29.com.

Total Access Analyzer -

Good luck!

Thanks Jeff,
The changing the table names did occur to me but, that would be a last
resort. The "Find and Replace" app looks promising. I am going to give it a
try. Thank you for responding
