Form does not load properly

I have a form that has a subform. When i open it the top subform does
not show the back ground colour and the buttons do not show, until you
run the mouse over the area where the buttons are then they apear.
Sometimes the back ground could comes back

I think this problem only happens on PC running vista, works fine on
XP

Any idea what cuase the problems
