Form Current Event

First lets acknowledge that I can't spell or write in VB.

Is it possible on the Form Current Event to have the database run an update
query that will bring current values into a table that is part of a query
that the form uses?

It sounds dumb, but I don't think I even completely understand why it is
impossible.

You've described a "how", as in how you want to accomplish something.

If you'll describe a bit more about the "why" and "what", folks here may be
better able to offer specific suggestions.

For example, what will you be able to do with the data as a result of having
"current values in... a table"?
