Open the form in design view and change the Record Source property.

I have a Form, based on a table.
I re-named the iderlying table. How do I tell the Form to use the new name
of the underlying table?

Yes, I've been looking for something like this in design view, but did not
find it. Where exactly in Design View should I look for the Record Source
property?

After opening the form in design view, click the Properties icon. Then
click the Data tab. Record Source should be the first property listed.

That's what I am doing.
I do not have Record Source. Instead I have Control Source which is relevant
not to the whole table, but to a particular field for it lists the fileld
name of the underlying table. I tried to append this name with the new table
name followed by dot, but it did not help.

You clicked/selected a control before clicking the properties icon. A
couple of suggestions:

1. With the properties sheet open, notice the combo box at the top of the
properties sheet. It should have the name of the selected control in it.
Open the combo box and scroll through the selections until you see the word
"Form". Click on "Form". You should now see the properties for your Form.

or

2. Close the form. From the database window, right click on the name of
the form and select Design View. When the form opens, do NOT click anything
in or on the form. Find the Properties icon in the ToolBar. Click it. The
Properties sheet should open to Form properties.
