forgotten password

If you've got another account with administrator privileges, logon as that
account and reset the password.

If you're referring to the Admin account, and it was the
only one, there are a few options without doing a
complete rebuild. Get your hands on the Winternals tools
which allow you to recover, or reset passwords forgotten.
There is also a utility called Setpass which will allow
you recover the Dir Services restore password. This tool
has worked on a forgotten admin account also.
