Forgotten Black Screen Links 2003

Its a few days ago I posted my problem playing Links 2003. After sending my system info no one seemed to notice that. Black sreen at start-up still appeares. Any suggestions?

Hi Rainer,

Maybe it's a long shot, but there's still the link I researched
for you on how to reinstall Codices on Windows 2000/XP
that you asked for, and which I found for you. You never
used that, nor did you respond to my reply to you after you
tried fixing the problem another way and it didn't work. :-s

I hope you take the time to try the advice. It's still there. :-)

My fault for not posting back. I sent the files on to some Links experts,
but they're apparently off until next week. I'd follow Jimmy's advise,
though.

Thanks for your reply. Sure I checked that link but it didnt work. Links 2003 failed again
Now listen and believe it or not: TELETUBBIES saved my Links 2003!!! How come? Yesterday my little daughter installed a BBC game Teletubbies. When she finished playing I tried to sort my Links issue again, double clicked the icon and --- IT WORKED!!! I have no clue why but I guess there was some file missing which was on the other CD. I just wondered why Links installer didnt write a warning
