The system in the link above can reset the Administrator
password offline.
Note that you need to create the bootdisk or the bootable CD on
another computer.

My father has the same problem on his 4 month old emachines.
What's the problem. Seems like a lot of people are experiencing a "lost
password" syndrome.
I've got calls in to emachines .. but obviously this is a software problem.
XP is dropping or doing something to make the system require a password..
