comments, they're here for answers. The locations of the
posts often show that they're not sure where to go for
help.
Don, a little more clarity is necessary however. Assuming
you're a "user" of the machine and don't have a "help
desk" the answer comes down to logging on to the machine
as Administrator and changing the password for that user.
If you don't have Administrator access, then get with the
person that does and they can carry out the action
mentioned above. If it's the Administrator account you
don't have, you'll basically need a tool that can reset it
such as Winternals ERD Commander or perform a clean
install. Note that the latter will require you to
reinstall ALL of your previously installed programs. Hope
you backed up all of your personal data!

You are generally right. But if in avery short time there are _very_
similar questions its quite likely that the questioners have the same
homework from their teacher. And if we are wrong with our assumption,
its no great deal to look some postings back at the answers to the
same question.
