forgot new logon password / remember old one

Help. I changed my password for logging on to my computer (Microsoft 2000). The next day I could not remember the exact NEW logon password. I didn't take the time to write it down. My big mistake. However, I remember the prior password. Is there any way I can log on by knowing the first password I assigned. I have my computer for home use only and I am just not a technology whiz.
 
Google for "windows 2000 lost password." This has been addressed here
hundreds of time. Googling before you post is almost always the fastest way
to get an answer to your question.
