please, my name is nduka dike from aba , nigeria. i want you to help me boot my system and log into windows though i hve lost wherei wrote my password. as a result of this particular problem i have not used my computer since december last year(2003). IT MIGHT INTEREST YOU THAT I USE A PENTIUM 266MHZ MACHINE and the computer is in my room and i use it to update and save all my correspondence as well as email messages. it is personal computer with no network attached whatsoever and i am not connected to the internet. i go to a cybercafe to send and check mails.

please i want you to tell me how to bypass the lost password or better still how to format the hard drive and reload windows2000 from scratch. i will be more that grateful if you will bail me out of this difficulty.

You might try to reset the local Administrator password with one of the methods
mentioned here (creating the reset CD/floppy on another computer):
