forever loading slx

HI All

Has anyone seen where "Target Designer" (TD) hangs, while opening an
slx file? I know TD is slow @ times but not this slow. I let it hang
for 30 minutes before I killed the precess. Do I have a corrupt slx
file? Do I need to reinstall TD?

I will let it chew on the slx file over night and see what happens.

How big is your slx? Can you please let us know what version of XPe you are
using? We fixed similar issues in TD in the upcoming Feature Pack 2007 so it
will be helpful if you can try and repro this with the latest CTP of this
release.
If it does repro on the FP tools - please file a bug including your slx if
possible.

I also have this problem. My slx file is 25,242 KB in size. It takes 30 to
60 minutes to check dependencies! I have given up trying to use a lsx twice.
It is faster to create a fresh configuration each time I want ot change
something. The original build process takes about 20 minutes.

I also have strangeness with double lines of output saying the dependency is
be checked . Almost like things are being done twice. Somtimes after I
terminate Target Designer it wants to send an error report.

I am new to this and it is very frustrating ( I just started three days
ago). Are there any updates to be had to fix this weird issues?
