Hello, this is my first post. I have a question about
FrontPage Russian edition (although it may apply to all
non-english language editions).
If I were to purchase a version of FrontPage Russian for a
collaboration, how are the pages encoded? If there an
automatic <meta http doctype=text/html charset=UTF-8 (or
KOI-8) included? Is the page written in UNICODE or some
other format? Can these pages be edited on both Mac and PC
with other HTML editing software? What do they look like
there?
Basically, I have someone sending me Word docs which I can
"Save As... HTML", and then copy and paste the relevant
text into the right places, but for the long haul, this
will not serve as a development environment. I'm already
having problems where there are word breaks that are
unclear and misspellings which I cannot correct. I want to
give my collaborator a tool to do their work using the
existing English pages as templates without them having to
know much (not any really) HTML. Is FrontPage Russian
going to do that?
Sincerely,
