Foreign language and speller problem in Word 2010

Hello, you nice people.

I brought years ago Word 2000 in France. It was in French language.
When I typed French text in Word 2000, it showed me immediately the
French grammatical errors or typos. When I typed English in that Word
2000 that I bought in France, it also showed me immediately the French
grammar errors and typos. The grammar speller worked on both
languages. Word 2000 recognized immediately both languages.

Now I got Word 2010 that I bought in the USA. When I type English text
in Word 2010, grammar speller works fine. When I type French into Word
2010, it doesn't correct any French grammar mistakes or typos and the
grammar speller does not work.

What can I do that Word grammar speller work in BOTH languages?

You have to apply the appropriate language to the text. Don't count on
"Detect language automatically" to work; it doesn't. See
