Forcing XP to load network drivers at boot

How do I force XP Pro. to load the network settings (drivers) prior to getting a login screen like Windows 2000? I realize this is a "New and Better Feature" of XP, but it is quite annoying. Any help would be appreciated

Hi, Bryan -

Open the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) and head to
Local Computer Policy --> Computer Configuration -->
Administrative Templates --> Logon and set the policy
that says "Always wait for the network at computer
startup and logon".
