Hi,

Is there someway to force immediate replication between domain
controllers in different sites?

I know you can force replication between DCs in AD Sites and Servers
by selecting server/NTDS Settings, then right clicking the connection
object in the right pane and clicking REPLICATE NOW. However, this
only appears to work INTRASITE. INTERSITE it seems you have to wait
until the replication cycle kicks in.

I have come across NTDS Settings/All Tasks/Check Replication Topology
- question - does that force replication in the course of checking? It
doesn't appear to.

I have also come across enabling change notification by editing the
site link object with ADSI Edit and changing the option value to 1 but
this is specified in Technet as for use "If you do not use a manually
created connection object" and mine are manually created.

There must be an easy way of doing this.

Anyone help?

Regards,
Michael.

You can use REPADMIN and/or REPLMON from the support tools on your Windows
200* CD.

I prefer REPLMON...
