I have a form with 2 subforms. I want the tab to process through one
subform, the other subform is only for display. I do NOT want the tab to
enter that subform at all. I've tried...
setting the tab stop and auto tab settings to NO
setting the tab index to " ".
Also tried resetting the subform's Cycle (all three settings).
I've rearranged the tab order several times.
NOt only does it tab in to that form, it gets stuck in that form.
The PC is now sitting on the window ledge, with a gun to it's hard drive! :)
Please save my PC!!
Thanks in advance,
Vivian

That's pretty strange all right. Are you sure you set the tab stop of the
subform control to no, rather than some control in the subform? You can also
set the enabled property of the subform control to no, and that should work,
but so should setting tab stop to no, so who knows?

The only tab stop option I could find was for the text box on the subform.
That is what I had set to NO.
Where do I find the tab stop option for the subform?
I created a new subform for this item, set the subform control enable
property to NO and that made it work. I just deleted the other subform
entirely.

You need to have selected the subform NOT any field on the subform.

Select some field on the main form.
Right click and select properties
Now just mouse the subform. (the little box in the upper left of the
subform should go from empty to having a black dot in it.)
Now check the Other tab and set tab stop to NO.
