Force Protocol Encryption on SQL Server

Let me phrase my question this way -

If Force Protocol Encryption is enabled in the Server Network Utility, can
an ADP still access the SQL Server?

Does the client need a certificate installed?

Are there any other considerations?

Never tried it but if you set the property Use Encryption for Data to true
in the OLEDB connection, it should work with ADP in my opinion. (Look under
the All tab in the connection window.)
