force clipboard to paste plain text...

Hello,

Is there any way to force the contents of a the clipboard to paste plain
text, rather than formatted text? I can never think of a time that I have
actually wanted to retain the texts formatting, and the times that I do want
it formatted it never matches to that of where I am pasting it and have to
reformat anyways. Is there a registry hack or something that could do this?
I have searched the net and have found several third-part applications that
say they can do this but I would prefer an "in-house" solution if possible.

I just temporaily paste into notepad and recut

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention that is what I do now as a
temporary measure. But a lot of times I forget to do that initially, so I
end up pasting my text, then deleting it because of the formatting that I do
not want, then opening notepad, re-pasting, copying again, and then pasting
one more time. It is definately a workaround but a bit of a pain, imo.
