Hello all,

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum.

I'm looking for a way to force a system to log in to a specific account
any time it is at the welcome screen/no account is logged on in Windows
XP. Of course I've found ways to make it log on to a specific account
on startup, but I also want to make it log on to this specific account
when any other account is logged out of.

I know this is possible in a domain via group policy. In that case, it
will log on to a specific account any time the system is started or
another account is logged out of unless the SHIFT key is held. This is
exactly the functionality I want, but without GP/Active Directory.

Is this possible on standalone Windows XP?

Although it would be interesting to see it work at logoff - as I personally
have never seen this work in a domain or outside a domain at logoff - only
startup.
