B Barb Bowman Dec 22, 2006 #2 <sigh> the register strikes again </sigh> the DLink G510 is an older PCI card. Probably not even WPA2 capable if it is Harver Rev A. If Rev B, and Windows XP, see http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/security/expert/bowman_wirelesssecurity.mspx and see the inf file - using Windows XP instead of the DLink util provides "normal" support. The newer DLink wireless NICs are Atheros based and have drivers in the box for Vista (except the draft N NICs).
