For Outlook BCM, how do you select "Active" as a filter?

I suspect it's a bug, but one of the fields *not* listed at all, I believe,
is the Active status for a business contact, if you want to perform a filter
for only Active BCM contacts. Has anyone found a simple work-around?

RXT,

Are you trying to filter a customized view of your Business Contacts folder?
If so, this field is available but it is nicely hidden. During your
customization when you are in the "Show Fields" dialogue box, select
available fields from: Drop down the list to select User-defined fields in
folder. At the top of your list is the Active field and it will display a
check box icon with a check mark indicating if the status is yes and a blank
check box if it is no.

RXT,

This also works for any other filtering by field you may be doing (Advanced
Find, Search Folders, etc.). When I first applied this filter a while back I
was stymied and dogged in my determination to find this "needle in a
haystack" and it was just a matter of digging through each and every field
group.

While doing this digging, I had repeatedly missed looking it in the "User-
defined fields in folder" group during my manual search. This "Active" field
is present within the Business Contact Record out of the box and I as the
user had never "defined" this field so naturally I repeatedly skipped over
looking in this group until it was the only possible place left from my
laborious trial and error search. Sure enough, there it was. I knew the
darn field was somewhere but it could have been grouped more logically in
order to eventually locate it.
