Hi,

I have defragmented my HD (winXP) with several passages of DIRMS, and
then I have put in the startup BUZZSAW, which defragments HD
continuosly, on the fly!!

I have tried the following ('crap' here means 'stupid like XP
defragmenter'):

perfectdisk = crap
o&o = crap
diskkeeper = crap

BUZZSAW (after DIRMS) means HD always perfect..

WONDERFUL for me!

Maybe I made a mistake...
I tried to defrag (Win XP) with BUZZSAW, but now I see that DIRMS comes
first.
BUZZSAW itself didn't di anything.

Yes, you made a mistake because

DIRMS defragments ALL files

BUZZSAW defragments only files been modified after DIRMS..

Therefore:

first run DIRMS
then run BUZZSAW

and your HD will be always almost perfect

Question does DIRMS also defragment the Swap file?
Or would it be best to remove the swap file, then defragment with
DIRMS. Then re-start windows with a new swap file?
