We're behind UPnP routers at home but can't connect with video? Should the
proxy server be selected or not under Tools, Options in Windows Messenger?
Thanks, Larry

Greetings Larry,

The proxy option is just for connecting to the service, it does not affect voice, video or
file transfer functionality (aka, it doesn't matter).

I remember in a previous post that audio was being one-way, is audio now functioning?

What was one way was initiation. My buddy could initiate a video call but I
could not. Today we were able to initiate both ways. My buddy changed out
his new Linksys G router for his old B router and things worked. His network
Connections screen shows messages going to the router mine does not. My
guess is that the Linksys UPnP bug is biting us. Thanks for your help. We
also determined today that the proxy setting makes no difference just as you
said. Larry
