Duane:

A question for you. Is there a way to drop a sub report
within a the footer section of a report and only display
the summed totals of the sub report (visible or hidden),
but link the sub report values to main (parent) report's
records. The reason I ask is that I need to display or add
the values from the sub report to a calculated control.
But each (parent report) records value much match the
value in the sub report for things to work. I've been
brain storming, I have not done it yet, so wonder if there
could be potential problems doing it this way.

Will appreciate your and others input....

Thanks,

I have having trouble picturing what you need. You may need to draw me a
picture by typing some data into a message or give me a concrete example of
your question.

Duane:

I think I solved my own problem. It has to do with linking
a sub-report with summed data values (same query as the
query driving the parent report, only summed and looking
at the data from another angle)to the record's identical
fieled (Job_Number). The sub-report would work kind of
like a detail line item list with only one item showing
where there are line item values to display.

Thanks for responding.
