I have created a "financial declaration" form in Excel
that our clients have to file with the court. I need to
place an asterisk beside several of the numbers in one of
my numeric columns to make a notation at the bottom
regarding these numbers. When I insert a non-numeric
character in the cell, Excel ignores the rest of my data
in that cell and doesn't include it in my calculations
(also loses formatting for $). Can anybody help?
