I have an Excel file with several worksheets.
I want the same footer to appear on each worksheet,
but I don't want to have to type it on each worksheet.
Where do I tell Excel to reproduce this footer on
every worksheet in this file?
Thanks for your help.

Click the tab of the first worksheet, hold the SHIFT key, click the tab of
the last worksheet. Now select Page Setup from the menu and define your
footer.

First select all the worksheets by clicking on the bottom
tab of the first one, and then hold the shift key down
while you click on the the bottom tab of the last one.
Then click on the menu: File/Page Setup. Then click on
the button: CUSTOM FOOTER. Fill in the blanks and say
OK, twice. Then don't forget to de-select the worksheets
by clicking on any worksheet besides the first one.
Otherwise everything you do on the first sheet will be
duplicated on all the others.

Hi Jan,

If you type the footer on one worksheet, then immediately
select another one, you can get the same footer on that
worksheet by pressing F4. You can do this for as many
worksheets as needed.

try this
1. Select all the tabs you want to have the common footer.
This can be done, if continous, by clicking on the first
holding the shift key & clicking on the last. If not
continous hold the ctrl key and click on each tab
independently.
2. Now do what you would normally do to create the footer.
3. This should do what you want.
