Footer disappears when printing

We have a user who inserts a footer in a Word document but
when she prints it, the footer disappears. It's not on the
printed copy and it gone when she goes back into the
document. Could anyone help? Thanks, Katherine

I had the same problem. Your footer disappears because your page and footer margins are wrong.
You have to adjust your footer margin, because the footer goes right to the bottom edge of page

My page margins are
-Top: 2.5
-Bottom: 2.5

And my header and footer margins are:
-Header: 1.4
-Footer: 1.4

I use these margins to keep the top & bottom lines of text away from the header and footer. And also, it guarantees all of the footer will show on my page. I hope that helps
