Football (Soccer) Database Question

Hi

I am having problems creating a database to track the proress and
statistics of my favourite football/soccer team.

I have managed to input the result, date, attendance, venue etc no
problem , but I am having great difficulty in trying to work out how
to record match details eg team line ups, goalscorers, substitutions
etc.

I have tried in vain to look for a similar database that I could
modify, but yet to find one.

If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it
