I'm operating on Windows XP home edition. I have my font
set at medium, which I think is the default setting.
I cannot get the font to change sizes at all. For
instance if I write an e-mail in Outlook Express and I
want to make a line in a size 18 font, it will stay on 12
no matter what I do. Does anyone know if there is a
setting I can make that will make the fonts change sizes
if I want to add a heading or any other part of my e-mail
in a larger sized font? I never had any trouble with
Windows 98 so I'm sure it's just a setting that I don't
know about. I also build amatuer web sites and the fonts
in the web builders will not change sizes either which
tells me it has to be my computer.
Thank you
Kat

Kat,

have you set the format of the email to rich text? This means
HTML, and without it you only have plain text without any
possibility to change the font size for the recipient.

Thanks for your response. I did change the mail setting
to rich text and I had the setting for HTML already set.
Still cannot change the text size, it automatically
changes back to 12, I'm really stumped.

Kat,

what is the name of the font? Have you tried any TrueType font
like Arial?

Yes, I've tried several common fonts that are on most
computers, I can get it to go to a color and to bold but
no matter which font I use or what size I set it for, it
automatically goes back to Arial, size 12.
Thanks again

Kat,

strange---I have no further ideas. If anybody else has---please
chime in.
