Fonts increase 2pt's with each launch of ppt

Re: PPT 2000 Professional I have a ppt where the point size increases 2 pts with each
launch of the application. Only some slides are affected. All slides share the same
master and font type. This effect occurs on 3 pc's but not on one. I have removed
and reinstalled ppt to no avail.
 
Interesting ....

All machines are running the same version of PowerPoint?

Look for differences between the affected and unaffected machines. Is there
a difference in the security setting? If so, are there any macros running?

Look for differences between the affected and unaffected slides? Do they
all use the same template?
Is Auto-format on or off?

Post back with the answers/solution. This is new to me, someone else may
have a known solution.

I wonder if the 4th computer has had SR 1/1-a installed. Check
