Is there any way to change the fonts or colours of the contents of a message
created using MsgBox?

Well, if you want to change it for all applications, it's possible.

However, rolling your own is certainly preferable.
 
Was a good boy in my youth so I never learnt to roll my own.

Who said good boys succeed?
