Hi Terri,
Most likely your presentation includes some fonts in metafiles or OLE
objects (such as Graphs) which PowerPoint is trying to embed. PowerPoint
cannot replace fonts inside of pictures or OLE objects which is why the
font is not listed in the Replace Fonts dialog.
For OLE objects you would have to Open/Edit each object and, if it's using
the problem font, reformat the text to use a font which is embeddable.
If you are not sure which fonts are embeddable, you can install the shell
extension for font properties (
http://www.microsoft.com/typography) and
then examine the properties for your fonts in the Fonts control panel and
look for fonts that are licensed for Installable embedding or Editable
embedding. If you want your presentations to be editable in PowerPoint 2003
you should stay away from fonts that are licensed for Print & Preview
embedding.
