Font size

I have a Compaq Presario x1000 with a wide screen and am
unable to change the font size for many of the window
screens. The majority of font sizes are incredibly small
and hard to read. How do I enlarge all of the fonts?

Also, is it possible to change web pages to the
widescreen format?
 
start
control panel
display
appearance tab
advanced button
scroll to find desired items and fonts.

when done making changes go to theme tab
and if theme box has (modified) click save as
button and save to name.theme ....save this.
