Font problems

A two part problem. Outlook does not read HTML messages
sent to me in arial font. The arial font does not appear
in Word docs either, occasionally but corrupt and broken
up. When I select all and change the font I can then read
the doc. Some websites have missing text too (arial)but
there is no easy fix there! This is anew computer with XP
Pro, have I missed something in the setup?

Try dragging and dropping the Font onto the desktop, then reinstall it
into the Fonts Folder,

1.. Click on your Start button and select > Control Panel
2.. Open (Doubleclick) the Fonts folder.
3.. Select File | Install New Font.
4.. Use the Folders: and Drives: windows to move to the folder on your
hard drive, a disk, or CD where your new TrueType fonts are located.
5.. Highlight the TrueType font to install from the List of fonts
window.
6.. Click OK. This completes your TrueType font installation.

See if this works.
