Hi oceans49. Don't panic! To find your posts do a search for oceans49 in
the "Search For" box, and then choose the Newsgroup. Of course, if you
can't see the box, that's a problem. Your posts are here:

Click on the link and add it to your Favorites; that way you can always find
your your posts and the replies. Yes, I replied to your response in your

--Thanks dean... after doing all the changes in Internet Options, I see no
changes.FYI I have an 19"LCD HD monitor using a brand new Gateway
preinstalled w Vista Prem O/S. Do you think it would be better for me to hook
up with a technician doing computer to computer assistance? I believe it's
offered by Gateway... unless you have another idea.I do appreciate the time
spent trying to help.. but either I'm making it more complicated than it
is... or it's just a learning curve I'll have to undertake. However Microsoft
has not made it as easy as 1,2,3 like to want us to believe JMO.

Sorry things aren't working yet. Tell me this. In Internet Explorer, when
you click on Help > About Internet Explorer, on the Command Bar, does the
box that pops up look complete and readable, or do parts seem missing? When
you click on Help > Contents and Index, can you read the text in the Help
and Support window? If you click on the Home icon in Help and Support, are
pictures (or text) missing?
