font not showing

Hi I have win xp pro and office XP When I used the font drop down list my
fonts used to show what the font looked like.Now for some reason that no
longer happens and all the fonts in the drop down list look the same. Any
ideas what I have done and how could I fix it?

Hi, Tricia. Click on View | Toolbars | Customize | Options tab | check
the "List font names in their font" box.

Thanks that was what was wrong. Somehow the tick dropped out of the box :-)
