I am currently running Windows 2000 Professional and I
have downloaded several free fonts. I put them all in my
Fonts directory that is located in my Windows install
folder. None of them are appearing in the dropdown list
for any of my applications. Did they not install
correctly? If so, how can I resolve this?

Thanks.

David,

How did you put them in the fonts folder, did you simply copy them there or did you go through the Control Panel\Fonts to
add them?

If you simply copied the files try going to Control Panel\Fonts and then select Install New Fonts from the File menu. If you
copied the font files to the font folder browse to that folder, select these new fonts and then click the OK button. Once this is
done then see if they show in your programs.
